Photo walk on a lightly snowy day

When I saw that it was snowing outside, I realized that I want to go and get a macro shot of a beautiful snowflake – guess what, I couldn’t get it. There were no snowflakes falling, just small pieces of ice.

But I did not come back with an empty SD. Here is what my camera saw today:

Ups and downs.

Hey you all!

I’ve lost many of you since my last post – that’s what happens if you’re trying to run a photography blog and won’t upload any new photos (- 30 followers).

So why have I been so “sleepy” for the past four months?
1) We had to move a lot = no time to operate the shutter.
2) Education and stuff = same result.
3) No inspiration = every picture I took was pale and lame, no reason to upload it here.
4) Computer troubles = no HDD to import my *.RAW files.
5) I was writing a book as a Christmas present to my wife (soon to become).

Happy holidays to you all! I hope to upload some fantastic frames soon.

As mentioned in the previous post we spent the day out today. We went to the Luke’s manor park – really nice, lovely and green place with an extremely relaxing atmosphere. If you ever should visit South-Estonia I strongly recommend you to go there.
Here is even the link to their homepage: http://www.lukemois.ee/.
Weather was beautiful – some solitary small clouds sailing in the big blue sky.
The temperature was too high in my opinion – car’s thermometer showed even 33 degrees C at one point.
After we got home I managed to repair aclickatatime’s f1.8 50mm auto focus problem – it had some hair or fur stuck between the AF gears. I also put the lens back together with only one small part that couldn’t find its place – lens is working fine so it shouldn’t matter 🙂 .

Enough of the text, here are the pictures that I managed to take with aclickatatime’s 18-200mm Tamron (thanks, honey).

Recently I have also been “hunting” thunder. Really wish to get one proper picture of lightning bolts.
That’s it for now – take care you all!

Oh and THANK YOU NEW FOLLOWERS! You have been noted – a big Thank You to you all!

Bu-bye!

Carcassonne

Carcassonne

Carcassonne

A longer pause yet again. Sorry! I’ve been really busy taking care of … stuff.

But here it is. A picture of our favorite board game – “Carcassonne”.
It started out as a random visit to the board games store, after what we infected our friends.
As of today we have 6 add-ons so the small board game has transferred to a floor game with a huge map as the end result.
Yesterday the four up us met and played one game. We started at 19:37 and the game ended at 23:00 – total play time 3 hours and 23 minutes.

I suggest you to give it a try.

New Day

So today I had a lot of free time (no wonder I have no money or a job).
I spent it in the nature, studying my new camera. Finally I even figured out, how to use custom White Balance. In total I made 41 photos, but after evaluating them the number came down to two.

I gave an Infrared filter as a present for aclickatatime.wordpress.com‘s birthday.
Today I tried it out myself. Here is the result (Quite happy with it actually. Bear in mind that it’s one of the first times that I used IR filter):

sõjatamm

Taken with Canon 50mm fix lense.

A HDR I made near “Kiidjärve”. I might have overdone the colours, but still love it.

Taken with Canon 17-85mm lense and UV + CIR-Polarizing filters.
